Payment details

•
Cards are handled by Stripe. Kettle never sees or stores your full card number.
•
Bank payments go through Akahu. You sign in to your own bank, and Kettle never sees your banking password.

Signing in

•
Passwords are stored hashed with bcrypt, never as the password itself.
•
On the web you can add a passkey and sign in with your fingerprint, face or device PIN. A passkey can't be phished.

Where your data lives

Kettle runs on Microsoft Azure in its Australia East region, in Sydney. What we keep and for how long is in the Privacy Policy.
